Shortly after giving birth, I must have fallen asleep, but woke to see my much loved godmother, Bonnie, who had died just over a month earlier. She was holding my baby in her arms, smiling broadly and said 'she's beautiful".
The blue in the embroidery represents the sadness I felt that Bonnie wouldn't see her new great niece, but the butterfly in the wonderful miracle that she did! (If only in my dream).
